May 15th
Drove over to Greymouth to shoot my good buddy Mike’s wedding. The weather has been pretty dreary over there lately but we were lucky enough for it to clear for the day.
Damien thought he’d try some new split screen editing with this video and I shot the whole thing in 60p (slow motion). As is always the case with these same day edit wedding videos – we were full on all day and only just finished it in time for the screening during dessert.
Was a really good day and a great wedding to be part of! We’re pretty happy with how the video came out.

Ben + Heidi
Feb 13th
I arrived out at Wainui on the morning before the wedding to catch the groomsmen and Ben going for an early morning wakeboard. The weather was amazing and the sea dead flat.
Joined up with Damien the following morning and we went to the brides prep house, got some shots of the girls then off to the grab some more shots of the boys.
The wedding was the beautiful French Farm but the weather was cloudy threatening to rain….luckily it turned out to be perfect!
The clouds parted for the ceremony and then came back as the guests moved inside for the reception – all like clockwork.

Rob + Samara

On the 3rd of January we were asked to film Rob & Samara’s wedding at the beautiful Mona Vale in Christchurch.
It was the first use of the new Canon 7D camera we just bought and so we thought we’d shoot the whole video in slow mo.
It was a hard days work – but we were able to get the video edited and played at the reception – which ended up being very enjoyable for us and the audience!
